Dana Placentra grew up in Montclair New Jersey. Raised in an Italian family on the insightful words, "a meal without bread is not a meal at all." She loves NYC and all the food adventures it offers. 

A recent 2017 graduate from NYU Gallatin, where she studied performing arts (Tisch and Steinhardt) in addition to the supporting elements of the entertainment and media business (Stern).  She believes that this has created a strong base of diversified learning platforms for her to build upon.

She competed on the track team at NYU all four years as a pole vaulter and has always believed in athletics. 

She fully embraces traveling and connecting to foreign cultures because  it has expanded her life experiences and has naturally increased her understanding and awareness of human interaction and communication. It also is a great source of inspiration. 

Dana has a unique approach to the acting process in that she combines the elements of varied acting studies with athletics, school, business, foreign travel and varied life experiences and adventures.
